PhD in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and in Political Science from the London School of Economics (LSE). Member of the Board of Directors of the Center for European Policy Studies, and of the Mont Pèlerin Society, of which he was president from 2014 to 2016. He is part of the Advisory Academic Council of the Liberal Institut of Zurich and is Adjunct Scholar at Cato Institute. He writes regularly in Expansión, Actualidad Económica, ABC and Financial Times.
