Doctor in Contemporary History from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where he was a pre- and post-doctoral researcher. He has taught History and International Relations at several universities. He is a specialist in Church-State relations and has written several books on this subject. He is currently working on the current political and economic situation in Italy, as well as on the European Union. He collaborates with various media, including Expansión and La Razón, Radio Nacional de España, COPE and Radio Inter. His latest book is "Italia, 2013-2018. De la esperanza al caos" (Madrid, Liber Factory, 2018).
