Smart Regulation. Conference about the future of regulation

This series of sessions were focused on consumer rights, the benefits of competition, and the need to explore smart regulation models. Smart Regulation tries to rationalise laws, always considering the importance of maintaining an attractive and flexible economic environment for business activity. This was an especially necessary effort in light of the growing wave of legislation motivated by an illusory need to «protect» the citizen from the «risks» of freedom of consumption and competition.

Specialised think tanks, including Fundación Civismo, participated in these workshops, led by its director, Juan A. Soto, and the secretary of its Board, Francisco Cabrillo, as well as representatives of business sectors affected by high levels of regulation.
