Civismo presented in Pamplona the Economic Freedom in Spain 2011 report, a study that analyses, in quantitative terms, the state of economic freedom in each of the seventeen autonomous communities. This study is a replica at the regional level of those prepared by the Heritage Foundation, Fraser Institute and Pacific Institute. The research team, led by Francisco Cabrillo, vice president of Civismo and Professor of Economics at the Complutense University, is formed by Rocío Albert, Director General of Universities of the Community of Madrid; Rogelio Biazzi, Professor of Economics at the Complutense University and Julio Pomés, founder and president of Civismo.
The presentation included the participation of the President of the Government of Navarra, Miguel Sanz; the Minister of Economy and Finance of the Provincial Executive, Álvaro Miranda; Francisco Cabrillo and Julio Pomés, vice president and president of Civismo, respectively. Over 140 personalities from the Navarrese economy attended the event.
